Important note: leather bits are not guaranteed against horse bite even after the first use.

Loose ring bits are the simplest in terms of action. They provide a rather direct action in the horse's mouth.

The leather prevents the mouthpiece from being too cold but also makes it more comfortable.

Care Tips: thoroughly rinse the bit with water after each use to limit residue build-up. Oil the leather with a vegetable oil to maintain a soft and pleasant contact for your horse. (Warning: do not use neatsfoot oil or any other synthetic oil)
