Toklat

Pronounced toe•klat, the name comes from the Tanana Indian language meaning "cloudy white" water; a result of the ice and snow melt. The area is home to the Toklat grizzly, a powerfully built bear with long, thick hair that is a striking pale golden color with chocolate-colored legs.
